My name is JW, owner of Lone Sage Bird Dogs, LLC and here is a little about me. I currently reside in the Treasure Valley of Idaho, and I have been an avid outdoorsman my whole life. My outdoor passions are wide ranging, like backpacking into wilderness areas in pursuit of monster muleys, guiding fly anglers in Alaska and other Western states, but my true calling over the last two decades has been chasing upland birds with hunting dogs. I take great pride in getting new dog owners their first opportunities at harvesting wild birds over well trained bird dogs. When I am not training dogs, consulting upland hunters, or pursuing birds, I’m usually out riding mountain bikes with my dogs, scouting for new upland honey holes.
